ASA everybody sorry I have been MIA but I have been busy with life and also just have not had much to blog about. I am still dealing with my same struggles that I have written about before so I feel like why complain!!!

I see I have new followers and I welcome you. I see I also lost one so I hope you may come back.

To ALL my "old Homies" I say Eid Mubarak and HIIIIII....S4A I got your message thanks, and Sdura thank you too!!!

Well yesterday my son's school went to Chuck E Cheese for there Eid party and he had a blast. At the end the trip everyone was trying to cash in their tickets to win a little prize, as a chaperon I was busy trying to make sure we did not leave any kids behind so I could not get the machine to cash in his tickets. I tried to tell him that we could come back but of course for a five year old that is not good enough. So as the kids were getting on the bus I ran back feed the tickets into the machine claimed my ticket amount and ran to the prize station got the coolest toy I could for him. I ran over to the bus and tapped on the window to were he was sitting and showed him the toys. His face was like someone put a spotlight on him!!! He was so happy!!!! I told him he could have it at home and blew him a kiss and then he went to blow me a kiss but soon realized he was with his buddies and said no not now later!!! But gave me a big smile. (at 5 he's too old to even blow a kiss to mothers, I can just image at 7 or 10 what will happen.) Well known the less I felt like his HERO all day....I love being a MOM

OH COME ON!!!!!

OK I just heard of the Fort Hood attack and all I can say is can Muslims ever catch a break!!!!! COME ON MY MUSLIM BROTHER AND SISTERS!!!!! FIND ANOTHER WAY TO GET YOUR POINT ACROSS!!!!!!! Why did you have to kill all these people because YOU didn't want to go back on your military tour of duty!!!! KILL YOURSELF!!!! YOUR GOING TO HELL ANYWAY!!!!

Now not only did he bring the spotlight back to Islam in a negative manner but think of all the Muslims in the armed forces that will now be put under the microscope. Just an FYI if you want to join the military in a non combative way go in as clergy. They do not have to fight and you get the same benefits.

This really pisses me off!!!!

Today is my baby's 3rd birthday and I am so thankful to Allah that he allowed us to enjoy him for another year!!!! Insha'Allah we will have more to come!!!!

ASA sisters,
Hope all had a great Eid and to my non Muslim followers, a happy September!!! LOL. I have bee MIA, but I decided to post although I have nothing special to talk about. Well Fall is here and as a new hijabi (8 months now) I am happy for this weather. I have been sad a little bit these days cause one of my BFF's is going back to her home country, which is Indonesia, this December. Any INS bloggers out there that can help her stay here???? She is here with her husband on a work project and its over now, so time for them to go. So I just been trying to spend our time wisely. I decided not to do my son's PTA this year. Its just too much (I was President) and no one wants to help me!!!! Its not fun anymore. SO I will just be active in his class. I need a job I can do from home for extra money!!! As Fall has arrived so has my desire to go shopping!!! Oh who am kidding I love to shop no matter the season!!! LOL So what's on everyone's Fall shopping list? I'm thinking about essentials like turtlenecks, sweaters, and boots. I have a beautiful knit hijab that a co worker from my sister's job made for me. I should take a picture of it and post it, I could probably get her a lot of orders. I also have to check out my sisters friend who started selling this girdle that is suppose to make you go from like a 16 to a 6 is like 1 minute....ALL FOR THAT!!!! LOL

I went to Great Adventure for the Muslim Eid celebration and had a great time!!! I made my mom get on a roller coaster with me then felt the fear of death once the darn thing got going. Boy I never prayed so hard for my life!!!! It was West Point Park at age 9 all over again. (inside joke for my sister)

I went to my girl friends house earlier this month and her house was so beautifully decorated!!!! She is in the medical field but could easily be an Interior Designer. Made me want to revamp my whole house!!!! Anybody watch HGTV? Love that channel. Speaking of TV...Ok I am totally addicted to TV!!! Some of my new favorites are....and don't judge....The Wendy Williams Show, The Dr. Oz Show, Cougar Town, and Trinny and Susan Make Over America. I still have my old fav's like The View, Oprah, Greys Antomy, The Biggest Loser and Dancing With The Stars. I know I watch a lot of TV!!!!

Ohh and don't forget my EAGLES!!! They are playing today go EAGLES!!!! They won 34 to 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs!! I was looking up tickets on line and they are crazy like $300 and up..PER TICKET!!!! I need a hook up!!!!!

Well that's what is new with me....Oh Ange from Hegab Regab did a post about the camel hump in hijabs...SO FUNNY!!! That girl cracks me up!!! And I love my follower Fuzzy's blog too!! Hope to see her back soon her laptop got stollen....boy that sucks!! TO my blogger BFF's Sacrifice 4 Allah and Hijabi Couture in the words of Wendy Williams "How you DOin?" LOL I love that show.....See ya next time...
